Artistic mosaic is a language and lives on precise rules. You need to know them in order to understand and appreciate the mosaic. You need to know the rules of the mosaic in order to make them your own, interpret them and bend them to your liking. I write about them my blog, and try to explain how I use these rules in my mosaic language.
